The Street Food Movement!

The Street Food Movement!

Street food is 86% more popular than it was two years ago. The arrival of the street-food bandwagon coincided with the proliferation of social media; dishes assembled in Seoul and Tokyo were now being viewed instantly in London, Birmingham and Manchester, thanks to the power of Instagram and Twitter. The street food movement has taken off in the UK and provides a welcomed change to the standard beige buffet that is served as evening food.

COCO Dining was established in 2015 and forms the sister company of well-renowned Jacaranda Catering based in Midhurst, West Sussex. Its founder, Ian Williams and his brother Jonathan took a trip to Austin Texas where they wanted to explore the food truck and street food scene. Their experience left them with perfect inspiration to get involved and so set about sourcing some quirky French vintage vans to renovate to be able to offer what we can today.
Our versatile COCO vans can be used to serve your champagne, cocktails to canapes, late night food or even as a DJ booth. Our vans are also available for dry-hire so if you already have a caterer in mind and you want to use them, then there is flexibility there.

Need the whole package? We can help! From tasty tacos, delicious noodle boxes, sweet crepes and waffles to Thai curries, Coco's crafty burgers, oysters and the best wood-fired pizza you will ever taste! We will also able to provide you with staff for the day and any extra equipment and decoration you will need to make your event suite your style. The options are endless and we are always open to new ideas and suggestions.

A fond favourite of the COCO team is the COCO Crafty burger which is a delectable treat for your taste buds. Made with West Country Red Devon and Angus beef, Nutbourne tomato, rocket, oak leaf, caramelised onion, sassy sauce, pancetta, Swiss cheese sandwiched between a fresh brioche bun.
Our passion is to bring you the freshest, all natural ingredients. The beef comes from small farms in Devon and Cornwall where the cows are from small herds raised the old fashioned way, on farms, eating grass, by real farming families.

For those with a sweet tooth, why not try our homemade rocky road, millionaires or banoffee waffles topped with cookie crumb or a salted caramel sauce. Alternatively, why not try one of our sweet or savoury crepes.
