Hello!

My name is Amelia, I’m creative director of Amelia Walters Studios and we’re based in lovely Brighton, East Sussex.

Art has always been my passion and I’ve been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember.

I’ve always created unique art and craft pieces for friends and family but it wasn’t until I had a child that I realised I could take my passion full time, and then the studio was born!

I started off doing small drawings for place cards and invitations but when a friend asked me to do the signage for her wedding I fell in love with the process of creating unique, bizarre and beautiful signs that give your special day an individual identity that goes beyond standard wedding art.

I really love creating a relationship with my clients, to figure out what it is exactly that you want over a cup of tea or a chat on the phone. I like to keep the meetings relaxed as possible as it’s so important to know who you are as a couple to be able to create something totally tailored and unique to you and your day.

We make signs out of card, paper or wood but if you have other ideas please do let us know. We recently supplied signage for a wedding in Morocco where all the place names were on paua shells, it really was exceptional, so the more imaginative the better.

I work with my husband who makes all of the wooden signs so any shape or size is possible, they are then all hand stained & painted by me. It’s a really personal process completely catered to your needs.
